Room 212 — Ms. Miller

We are now close to the halfway mark in the school year with the ISATs fast approaching. Over the next weeks, we will continue to work on material in the text while we review for the ISAT tests. It is important that students are coming to class prepared to work with all of their materials. This includes a calculator which is not only part of the supply list but also an important tool. Students ARE allowed and encouraged to use calculators on the ISATs and unfortunately, there are not enough calculators at the school for all of the students. Students without calculators will be at a severe disadvantage, especially as passing the ISATs is one criterion used for deciding whether students will require summer school to be promoted to 7th grade.
Math help continues in the mornings. Students can come in for help starting at 8:15 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at jlmiller4@cps.edu. *Please note the middle initial and the 4 — without these your e-mails will not go through to the correct person.
