Book orders are sent home every Monday.  Please send all orders and money every Friday.  The children love to get new books that they can read.  We try to instill a love of reading at school.  It would be most helpful if you could reinforce this at home.  Your child will be able to tell you that, "if you read, then you will get smart."

We are still collecting Box Tops for Education.

Jamieson t-shirts and Gym shoes should be worn on respective Gym Days.

Children need to wear appropriate clothing for the weather as we go outside whenever possible.

We have been helping our school recycle.  The children are very careful about putting paper in the recycling bins, not the trash cans.  We are learning to help our Earth in any way that we can.  We hope that you do this at home as well.

The Librarian, Mrs. Loftus, is now allowing Kindergartners to borrow books from the Library.  The children should read, enjoy, and take care of the books.  They must bring the books back to school on their Library day each week.

We wish all of our Moms a very Happy Mother's Day!

Conservation logs have been sent home.  Please mark down each time that family members turn off the water as they brush their teeth.  Each time water is turned off, two gallons of water is saved.  If everyone participates, imagine how much water our Jamieson Family members could save!  Logs are due on Monday, May 12th.

Progress Reports will be sent home on Friday, May 16th.

On Monday, May 19th all Kindergartners should bring pink and white geraniums as we will be planting them in the garden with our 7th grade buddies.

We hope that all students will participate in the Walk-A-Thon on Wednesday, May 21st.  We can raise so much money for our school!

There will be no school on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.

The Kindergarten Gym show will be on Thursday, May 29th at 2:00. We hope that all parents can attend.
