Language Arts homework: Week of December 18th-December 22nd
LOOKING ahead:
Monday, Dec. 18th: 1) Read pages 12-15 in JS and answer questions #1-10 on p. 15. 2) Begin working on Vocabulary Unit #9.
Tuesday, Dec. 19th: Identify the 5 W's for the Darfur article.
Wednesday, Dec. 20th: Study for JS quiz
Thursday, Dec. 21st: No homework.
Friday, Dec. 22nd: Read at least 30 minutes a day during break.
Social Studies Homework: Week of December 18th-December 22nd
LOOKING ahead:
Monday, Dec. 18th: Complete vocabulary for Chapter 3 Lesson 1.
Tuesday, Dec. 19th: Complete summary for Chapter 3 Lesson 1.
Wednesday, Dec. 20th: No classes.
Thursday, Dec. 21st: Make sure to have 2 sources in class tomorrow so that you can work on your annotated bibliography.
Friday, Dec. 22nd: Continue working on History Fair project. Remember that you need to have your title and a project up date when we come back.

Tuesday, Dec. 12th: Field Trip to the Museum of Science & Industry....no classes.
Wednesday, Dec. 13th: Read pages 8-9 in JS and highlight key inofrmation.
Thursday, Dec. 14th: Answer Question #1 on p.121 in Extended Response format.
Friday, Dec. 15th: Complete questions # 1-5 on p. 122 in literature book and read pages 10-11 in JS.

Language Arts homework: Week of December 4th-December 8th
LOOKING ahead: We will be having a debate about a hot topic later this week.
Monday, Dec. 4th: 1) Begin writing Vocab. Unit #8 5 x's each.
Tuesday, Dec. 5th: 1) Read JS p. 7 and form your position on the issue.
Wednesday, Dec. 6th: 1) Answer Review and Assess Questions for Aaron's Gift. 2) Finish Vocab. Unit #8 5 x's each. 3) Continue to develop position for debate.
Thursday, Dec. 7th: Review for Vocabulary Quiz.
Friday, Dec. 8th: No homework...great work on the crafts today in class!!
Social Studies Homework: Week of December 4th-December 8th
LOOKING ahead: We will be presenting the board games that were devloped in class.
Monday, Dec. 4th: Skim through CMHEC handout and begin resarching possible topics for the History Fair. Tuesday, Dec. 5th: Complete your final touches for the board game which we will be presenting in class tomorrow.
Wednesday, Dec. 6th: No homework...excellent board games so far!!!
Thursday, Dec. 7th: Classes were shortened due to GREAT so the few games that were left were presented. Remember to use your time to research for History Fair topics.
Friday, Dec. 8th: No class...keep working on locating information for the History Fair.
