HOMEWORK FOR NOVEMBER
Language Arts homework: Week of November 27th-December 1st
LOOKING ahead: We will be having a quiz on the current JS magazine, a Grammar Quiz and a Vocabulary Quiz all this week.
Monday, Nov. 27th: 1) Begin Unit #7 5 x's each-due on Wednesday. 2) Grammar p. 299: Exercises # 6 and 7.
Tuesday, Nov. 28th: 1) Complete worksheet for Pike's Prediction.
Wednesday, Nov. 29th: 1) Review for Vocabulary Bee. 2) Study for JS Quiz.
Thursday, Nov. 30th: 1) Study for Vocabulary Quiz. 2) Study for Grammar Quiz.
Friday, Dec. 1st: Use the weekend to review for the Grammar Quiz that has been postponed until Monday and remember to pick-up a good book and read it in-between your snowball fights and building snowmen this weekend!!!
Social Studies Homework: Week of November 27th-December 1st
LOOKING ahead: We will begin an activity that will demonstrate what you have learned from studying Chapters 1 and 2.
Monday, Nov. 27th: Brainstorm some more ideas for yuor board game.
Tuesday, Nov. 28th: Continue working on developing your board game with your group members.
Wednesday, Nov. 29th: Continue working on developing your board game with your group members.
Thursday, Nov. 30th: 1) Continue working on developing your board game with your group members. 2) Review the History Fair packets that you received.
Friday, Dec. 1st: There was no class today...enjoy your weekend and be ready to focus on the History Fair and your board games next week.

LOOKING ahead: We will be doing a writing activity for Thanksgiving to demonstrate what you are thankful for in your life.
Monday, Nov. 13th: No classes due to Science Fair presentations, so no homework.
Tuesday, Nov. 14th: No classes due to Science Fair presentations, so no homework.
Wednesday, Nov. 15th: Complete JS page 13 #1-10 and begin studying for quiz which will be on Friday.
Thursday, Nov. 16th: 1) Study for JS quiz. 2) Complete Thanksgiving assignment about "On this Thanksgiving I Am Thankful For..." You may choose to do either an acrostic poem or essay.
Friday, Nov. 17th: Complete Conservation Essay with proper corrections.
Social Studies Homework: Week of November 13th-November 17th
LOOKING ahead: We will be wrapping up Chapter 2 and you will receive a study guide so that you can begin reviewing for your test.
Monday, Nov. 13th: No classes due to Science Fair presentations, so no homework.
Tuesday, Nov. 14th: Half-day no class.
Wednesday, Nov. 15th: Complete p. 59 #1-5 if you did not finish in class and study for the quiz on Chapter 2 Lesson 4!!!!
Thursday, Nov. 16th: Complete wkbk. p.14. and start studying for Chapter 2 test which will be next Monday (11/20).
Friday, Nov. 17th: Study for Chapter 2 Test. Remember to use your study guide to help you prepare!!!

Language Arts homework: Week of November 6th-November 10th
LOOKING ahead: We will have our 1st test for the 2nd quarter on the poems we have been discussing.
Monday, Nov. 6th: Complete workbook pgs. 11-13.
Tuesday, Nov. 7th: 1) Study for test on poems. 2) Read pgs. 7-8 in JS and answer ques. #1-10 on page 9. 3) Write 10 sentences using common and proper nouns, remember to underline.
Wednesday, Nov. 8th: No school for students.
Thursday, Nov. 9th: Complete the 5 W's wkst. for the JS article on pgs. 7-8.
Friday, Nov. 10th: 1) Complete Conservation Essay you began in class. 2) Complete Veterans Day packet and remember to watch some t.v. coverage.

LOOKING ahead: We will be working on a Torah activity this week that will tie-in to our readings.
Monday, Nov. 6th: Read p. 55 and identify 5 points and p.56 and identify 3 points.
Tuesday, Nov. 7th: No homework.
Wednesday, Nov. 8th: No school for students.
Thursday, Nov. 9th: Read pgs. 56-57, "Israel & Judah" and identify 3 main points.
Friday, Nov. 10th: Read the final 2 sections of the lesson. Identify 2 main points for p. 57 and 3 main points for p. 58-59.
