Mr. Baughman's Monthly Message

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members;

Parents of 8^th grade students, it is extremely important that you plan to be a part of our 8^th grade parent meeting being held on Wednesday, April 9^th at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. There are many changes to the student promotion policy, summer programs for graduates, and a new High School Investigation Day that is being planned for the end of May. I would like to make sure that parent and students alike know of all the items that need to be taken care of prior to graduation. Time will move quickly for everyone involved and it would be best if we have a clear action plan that will allow your child a fun and trouble free graduation.

Parents, today I went into the rooms to remind students of their responsibilities as students of Jamieson Elementary. The culture of Jamieson is continued work and learning all year long. I am asking for your support in helping us help your child in maintaining their focus towards school for the reminder of the year. The students all know that they must be here on time every day, work hard in class, complete all their homework, and continue to be respectful and responsible young adults. It is in these final months of school that our teachers make the necessary educational gains so students are well prepared for next school year.
