Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,                                                                                             And that has made all the difference.

Robert Frost

Much like the quote from Robert Frost’s famous poem, The Road Less Traveled, the students in sixth grade must also decide which path to travel on this year. As junior high students, your children will be faced with many challenges and difficult decisions. While the road less traveled can be foreboding and ominous at times, the worn path is not always the best option. If we can provide our students with the guidance and support needed to make these decisions, then hopefully they will have the courage to take that road less traveled and pave a path for their future.

If at any time you have a concern or merely want to touch base, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can call the school and leave a message or you can send me an e-mail at zzlatkovic@cps.edu.

Once again, I look forward to a rigorous, yet fun and interesting, school year!!!
