This week in Math we will be reviewing skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, including word problems. In Reading, we will work on synonyms, antonyms, and theme.

This week in Reading, we will continue to work on theme. We will also be reviewing characters and setting. In Math, the different groups will be working on multiplication, division, and word problems.

This week and next week will be our final Map/NWEA testing. Please make sure your children are well rested and ready for testing.

Groups 3, 4, and Edina: All students should work on their individual packets with reinforcement of the correct use of apostrophes and contractions.
Ian, Christopher, and Julio: There is no homework for you.
Week of April 30th.
This week in Reading, we will continue to work on theme. All students need more practice in identifying theme in given selections. Additionally, we will be continuing to work on synonyms and will work on antonyms as well. In Math, we will be focusing on division.

This is report card pick-up week. I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday. This week in Reading, we will be working on theme, and practicing determining the theme of passages and stories. In Math, Jimmy will continue to work on area of geometric figures. The other Math group will be working on division.

Social Studies: Correct your tests and study the vocabulary words again. There will be a re-test on Monday.
