Upcoming Events and Programs

There are a number of exciting events coming up both at Jamieson and in the community. I want to be sure everyone is aware so they have an opportunity to participate.
1. Chicago Police Department’s Saturday Youth sports program registration has begun. A flyer will be sent home with 6-8 grade students and available at our parent community table by the auditorium.
2. NIU is offering tuition based summer reading programs for k-11 grade. A flyer will be sent home and one is also available at our parent community table by the auditorium.
3. The Jamieson History Fair is being held on Thursday, March 25th and Friday, March 26th. Visitation times will be posted.
4. The students spring breakbegins on Monday, March 29th and ends on Friday, April 2nd. School resumes on Monday, April 5th.
5. Kindergarten pre-registion for the 2010-2011 school year runs from Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th. Times to register will be daily from 9:30 to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please call ahead of time to be sure you have all required documents when you come to avoid delays. Please bring your child with you, we would like him/her to take a screening test to help us prepare for their fall classes.
